Tias has a popular property market. The town is centrally located close to Puerto del Carmen and the airport with very good access via the main road.

Tias is built on top of a rather large hill up behind Puerto del Carmen. It is a large town by Lanzarote standards with plenty going on. The town is well developed with a large percentage of its population from overseas. There is a good supply of tourist accomodation and property for sale in this area. Just down the hill in between Tias and Puerto del Carmen Lanzarote's second golf course in under construction and expected to bring a lot more 'golf tourism' to the island and the area.

The Tias property market is not far behind the three main tourist areas of Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca and Costa Teguise. The holiday rental market in Tias is strong and many people prefer to stay here for the more tranquil environment then have a quick drive in Puerto del Carmen for the extra facilities available there.
